The Squamish area is graced every year with one of the greatest concentrations of wintering bald eagles in the world, making eagle viewing an incredible attraction. These congregations can be viewed year round and several spots around Brackendale. Prime viewing usually happens at Eagle Run Park where you will find an interpretive display of eagles and are able to witness the lifecycle of the chum salmon on which they feed.
Towering about Howe Sound at 335 metres, Shannon Falls is the third tallest falls in British Columbia. To reach the base of the falls you must follow a scenic windy traill through a beautiful old growth forest.
